Kexbrough Methodist Church

Wednesday Fellowship

The Wednesday Fellowship starts at 7:15 each week with tea, coffee and biscuits. At 7:30 there is a time of singing, people usually choosing their favourite songs. There is usually a speaker who may lead a Bible Study or tell about their life or interests.

The first two meetings after the summer break have been way forward meetings for the life and work of Kexbrough Methodist Church. These have been very fruitful meetings with lots of people attending and sharing their ideas about what they would like to see happening in our church and involving our community.

The next fellowship meeting on the 21st September is a sharing meeting where people bring readings, meditations or share something that they have recently experienced in their life.

September 28th Mrs Jenny Beaumont from Darton Outreach church will come and talk to us about her experiences as a Street Pastor.

Ian Morris from St Andrews Penistone will be our speaker on the 5th October.

On the 19th October Rev Louise Dawson will lead our fellowship group and this will be a continuation of the way forward meetings when again the life and work of the church and community will be discussed.

Our new supperintendant minister Rev Mick Neil will speak at our fellowship meeting on 9th November.

We start our section Advent meetings on the 23rd November and continue each Wednesday the last one being on the 14th December. These meetings will be held at different churches in our section and will be confirmed at a later date.
